A massive update for the Android version of Violoncello!

Greetings, everyone! Today, I am very excited to announce that I have released a positively massive update for the Android version of Violoncello: v1.7.0. Not only does it bring a plethora of changes and improvements to the app's UI, but it also introduces quite a few exciting new features. So, without further ado, here's what's new!
  • New Bookmarks Manager: Violoncello for Android has historically had a somewhat basic bookmarks manager. While it got the job done, it lacked polish and was less advanced than its iOS counterpart. As a result, I decided to make a new bookmarks manager for this update! It can be accessed by the new bookmarks button on the navigation bar, and it displays your bookmarks in a list of cards. Not only are they automatically alphabetized, but you can easily filter them by a quick search. Additionally, managing them is very intuitive and easy to get the hang of, especially if you are familiar with how LifeBoard works. Basically, you can tap on a bookmark to visit it, swipe to delete it, and hold to share it. Best of all, your old bookmarks from the previous system should seamlessly transfer over to the new one! It's intuitive, easy to use, and definitely a massive upgrade over the last bookmarks system.
Voila! Here is what the new bookmark manager looks like.

  • Floating Top Button: While the new bookmarks manager may be the most significant feature introduced with this update, this one is also pretty neat! The floating top button can be enabled in settings, and as you may have already guessed, it's a button that lets you easily jump to the top of the page you are viewing. It floats above everything else, and you can drag it to wherever is most comfortable to reach. Also, Premium users can change its background color in the app's settings menu. It's a fairly minor feature, and it's certainly not for everyone, but I do think it's quite handy! Stay tuned for more updates, as I hope to expand its functionality in the future.
You can see the floating top button in the bottom right corner, just above the new bookmarks button.

  • UI Tweaks & New Logo: I've also made several visual changes to Violoncello in this update. First and foremost, I have drawn a new logo for it! I may be a bit biased, but I think it looks very nice, and it definitely has a lot more personality than the old one. Furthermore, I've changed the look of several of the UI elements in the app. The most notable example of this is the updated URL bar, which I think looks a lot nicer now! Overall, I would say that I have made a lot of nice UI improvements that should make the browser feel more polished and refined.
Here's the new logo!

  • The Little Things: This update makes plenty of small improvements to the app as well. Many of these are behind the scenes, but they should help the app feel a bit nicer to use.
Overall, I'd say that this is a pretty exciting update!

As you can see, version 1.7.0 is definitely a massive update to the Android version of Violoncello! It's been a ton of fun to make, and I really hope that you all enjoy it. Thank you so much for reading, and as always, you can get the latest version of Violoncello for Android from the Play Store!
